men’s ministry
Our men’s ministry provides opportunities for growth, service, and connection throughout the year. Whether it's participating in mission projects to make a difference in the community, enjoying the great outdoors on camping trips, or gathering for fellowship and encouragement, there’s something for everyone. These events are designed to strengthen faith, build friendships, and support one another in our walk with Christ. Stay tuned for updates as we plan more ways to engage and grow together.
Fall Bible Study
Men, join us this Fall as we study through the book of Joshua - a bold call to trust God, obey His word, and lead with courage. We will dig into themes of God’s covenant faithfulness, His sovereign hand in battle, and the call to walk in obedience even when the way forward is uncertain.
Joshua’s story isn’t just about ancient conquests, it’s a gospel-saturated picture of God’s promises fulfilled in Christ, the true and better leader who brings His people into lasting rest. Together, we will explore what it means to be men shaped by Scripture, grounded in grace, and committed to leading well in our church, homes, and communities.
We will meet for ten weeks beginning Monday, September 8 from 6:00am-7:00am at Oak Valley Church.
If would like more information, please contact Pastor Daniel ‘Booney’ Joyner.
Books & Burgers
This summer, join us as we read through Dr. Al Mohler’s Prophet, Priest and King, and gather for discussions over BOOKS and BURGERS!
Our final gathering will be on Thursday, August 14, 6:30pm at Pastor Jimmie’s home.
Contact Pastor Jimmie Suggs for details of the next gathering!
